1What are the Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions (CC&R`s)?
The CC&Rs are the governing rules and regulations our neighborhood lives by. The CC&Rs can be found on the Crawford Crossing HOA website under the documents tab.
2What are the By-Laws?
The By-Laws are the governing rules by which the association is run. The By-Laws can be found under the Crawford Crossing HOA website under the documents tab.
3Why does Crawford Crossing have an HOA?
Crawford Crossing has an HOA to manage the neighborhood operations. The Board is responsible for keeping the common areas maintained and the amenities in good condition. Another benefit to having an HOA is maintaining the appearance and harmony of the neighborhood.
4What are HOA properties, and what are they for?
The HOA owns common areas and private uses areas. The common areas are set aside for the residents to enjoy and use. The private use areas are set aside as green spaces and wetlands. The private uses are strictly managed by the Board and should not be used without written permission from the Board.
5How would I file a concern with the Board?
Residents can contact the Board about concerns, potential violations, or suggestions. Residents can email any of the Board Members and all matters will be discussed as a group. Email addresses can be found on the Crawford Crossing HOA website under the Contacts tab.
6Can I hold an event in the common area?
You are welcome to hold an event at the common area. You should submit a request to the Board so we are aware. The Common area will still be open to all residents; however, you can select an area to hold your event.
7What do I need approval for on my property?
At Crawford Crossing we work hard to make sure our neighborhood looks clean and in harmony. To accomplish this, we ask that the residents submit requests for landscaping, remodeling, additions, and any other structures they may want. This is one way we work together to keep the neighborhood appearance in harmony.
8How do I get approval for changes to my property?
Submit a request to the Architectural Review Committee (ARC). The request form is found on the website under documents, along with Architectural Guidelines. Please note that ARC approval is required before work is started.
9Is the lake private or open to the public?
The lake and the path around the lake are open to the public. The common areas in our neighborhood are private and for the use of Crawford Crossing residents and their guests only. The lake, and the area on the south and east of the lake is owned and governed by the city.
10Can boats be on the water?
Boats are allowed in the lake. Only electric motors or self-propelled craft are allowed. Maximum speed on the lake is 5 MPH. State laws apply to all boats, kayak, and paddle boards while on the lake.
